  • Overview

    i3 is seeking an RMF Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support ground breaking cybersecurity requirements, RMF security control tailoring, and generation of a tactical overlay to apply to the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) in support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation on Redstone Arsenal, AL. 


    This effort will involve comprehensive analysis of the entire FLRAA internal network, individual aircraft (tactical) components, RMF security controls, mission objectives and performance measures to model out the entire FLRAA system for the purposes of generating a tailored set of RMF controls offering flexibility of implementation for tactical systems, yet still enforces and adheres to cybersecurity compliance standards as regulated by the DoD, NIST, and Army. Further, the RMF Cybersecurity SME will be responsible for planning, presenting, defending, and updating progress on the development of the RMF tactical overlay to key leadership in the FLRAA Program Office, Headquarters Army (HQDA), and NETCOM.


    • Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of relevant experience
    • Current Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret-SCI
    • Tactical Cyber Experience required
    • DoD 8570, IAM Level I-II Compliance
    • Intimate knowledge of the RMF process and security controls as well as NIST SP 800-160, Volume 2, “Developing Cyber Resilient Systems: A Systems Security Engineering Approach”
      -5+ years of direct DIACAP/RMF experience required
