Field Service Representative (FSR)

i3 is seeking a Field Service Representative for a Flight Simulator at Air Force and Air National Guard bases across the CONUS. Candidate will provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) system developed and integrated with the MQ-9 Ground Control Station (GCS). This position will require integration of GOTS/COTS/OEM software and hardware components, understanding of wired networking, and application of the systems development life-cycle for system sustainment. Position will allow candidate to work closely with the end users of the systems, requiring possible travel to military installations as needed.

This position is located at Creech AFB, NV.

Candidate will provide on-site technical support for the MJAT Trainer System to include installation and setup; operational training; assistance in training scenario and documentation development per fielded unit tactics, techniques and procedures; tracking of MJAT hardware and software configurations, hardware component inventories and failures; and basic troubleshooting and maintenance training. Maintain contact with the units in the region, schedule and support MJAT operation for training events.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field + 3 years of experience is preferred. This may be substituted for an Associate’s degree + 7 years of experience or a High School Diploma +9 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience and capabilities with Windows, UNIX or Linux, VMware ESX, and JAVA Technologies.
• Intermediate knowledge or understanding of Cisco and Juniper firewalls and cloud computing.
• Ability to write technical documents.
• Familiarity with or basic knowledge of RPA Ground Control Systems from a maintainer, operator, user, or integrator perspective.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Active Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in applying security controls to Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, DISA STIG implementation is strongly desired.
• Experience maintaining and integrating MQ-9 Reaper trainers is a plus.
• UAV/RPA experience is desired.
• Knowledge of Air Force RPA GCS variants is a plus.
• Networking engineering experience with Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) desired.
• Prior experience with legacy MQ-1/MQ-9 simulators is a plus.
