i3 is in search of applicants who are interested in satisfying a future requirement to support an office within PEO Aviation with administrative support. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from providing a similar type of support to DoD organizations or DoD contractors. This position is located in Huntsville, AL. 


  • Interfaces with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the Army.
  • Coordinates and tracks staff activities with proper Army protocol.
  • Reviews incoming/outgoing documentation/briefings for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of the Microsoft (MS) Office Suite of products to develop numerous PowerPoint briefings, Excel spreadsheets, and documentation developed utilizing Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Manages dynamic calendar events utilizing Microsoft Outlook, coordinates unclassified and classified meetings, video teleconferences and Microsoft Teams’ meetings.
  • Uses independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment.
  • Performs administrative support functions to include making travel arrangements/creating travel orders and travel vouchers in a financial system such as the Defense Travel System.
  • Responsible for providing detailed list(s) of items to Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder for purchases. Coordinates with GPC holder to ensure item descriptions and numbers reflect actual office requirements.
  • Reviews and processes Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) time. This involves verifying entry of labor in ATAAPS against established Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) cost accounting codes and employee concurrence prior to supervisor certification.
  • Consolidates monthly office publication inputs (including text and graphics) in MS Word, conducts a thorough review to identify and resolve all grammar and punctuation issues, staff with team leads for their review and comments, prepare final updates, and convert to Adobe Acrobat for final publication.
  • Participates and supports program IPTs.
  • Develops and evaluates programmatic and technical documentation such as letters of agreement, Memorandum of Understandings, Mission Needs Statement, requirements documentation, system specifications, and training documentation.
  • Coordinates all input and tracking of the Request for Personnel Actions within the Employee Management System.


  • Minimum Education – BS in engineering, business, or operations research
  • Minimum Years of Experience – 5 Years
  • Alternate Education and Experience: MS and 3 years; HS and 9 years
  • Must have experience with the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Existing Active Security Clearance REQUIRED: SECRET

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarization with Army aviation platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Publisher.
  • PEO Office experience.
  • Familiarization with the following tools:
    • GEARS
    • ATAAPS
