As a Program Manager (PM) and overall Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming (VTSG) Portfolio, you will be responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of i3 VTSG US Air Force Virtual Training applications, interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) technology projects and provide subject matter expertise on various Air Force platforms to include manned and unmanned. In order to be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in project management, managing and leading creative teams, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and DoD customers. You should have an understanding of the Air Force Acquisition Process and Air Force System Programs Office (SPO) funding channels and be highly familiar with the structure and function of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC). You should also possess the know-how and ability to manage, grow, and expand on-going efforts and secure new efforts within AETC.
The ideal candidate is capable of providing on-site customer interaction, evaluate GFI, and lead the development of courseware design documentation. You will conduct planning short term, mid-term, and long term planning for the business entity and the programs your team supports. You will coordinate daily tasks and work with government customers, support contractors and Team i3 project and functional leads to ensure compliance with project management plans and integrated master schedules. Other duties include: tracking project costs and schedules, generation and explanation of reports to provide updates to management and Government customers.
