  • Responsible for the security of the company in matters of classified processing, safeguarding, access control of personnel security and physical security.
  • Prepares/updates facility security manuals and briefings to include OPSEC and Insider Threat policies and procedures.
  • Develops, coordinates, and conducts security awareness, training and educational (SATE) programs for all cleared employees ensuring compliance and support of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM,) customer requirements, and company policy.
  • Interprets and implements security requirements outlined in DD 254s and prepare subcontractor DD 254s.
  • Maintains the corporate NISS account; submits facility clearance package as needed.
  • Prepares the facility for required annual audits/vulnerability assessments, maintaining a robust security process.
  • Maintains interactive relationship with DCSA representatives, prime and subcontractor FSOs.
  • Stays current with FSO training and security requirements as directed by DCSA as well as with all national security violations and potential threats to team members and their confidential information.
  • Respond to alarms and other emergencies to include after normal business hours and/or nights/weekends
  • Provide regular updates to Program Managers and Directors on status of security management, security violations, badges, clearances, visit requests, etc.


Required Qualifications

  • Must hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industrial security experience. Corporate FSO experience preferred.
  • Completed FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities and Insider Threat Training.
  • Experience with managing multiple closed areas and possessing facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, Executive Orders, Industrial Security Letters, and DoD Directives.
  • Working knowledge of: SIMS, JPAS, e-QIP, DISS, NISS, ACCS, SPOT and APACS.
  • Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10% of the time.

 Desired Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining a program facility in accordance with ICD 705 requirements.
  • COMSEC, OPSEC, and SPeD certifications.
  • Experience with US Import/Export Regulations; International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) & Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
