The site development Manager will lead i3’s site development activities for installation and integration of each of the components necessary to make a hypersonic wind tunnel.  

Responsibilities

  • Assist the engineering staff with scheduling, coordination, logistics and generally facilitating efficient execution of fabrication phases of the project.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate onsite development efforts in accordance with the integrated master schedule in conjunction with lead engineers.
  • Coordinate onsite field tasks and resources across the project throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Communicate with senior management regarding status of onsite progress, tasks and issues encountered.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports on highly visible tasks and projects.
  • Assists the engineer in identifying, mitigating, and documenting project risks.
  • Organize deliverable trackers and facilitates deliverables sign-off.
  • Records and files meeting minutes, sighting action items for project meetings.
  • Work with internal and external support contractors to receive accurate and timely integration information.
  • Tracking execution and notifying program managers of issues and integration needs.
  • Coordinate with lead safety personnel to ensure integration activities are safe and free of personnel hazards
  • Coordinate with Quality to ensure that the wind tunnel components meet the design requirements.
  • Coordinate with lead logistics manager to ensure deliveries of required components meet installation/integration timelines.
  • Coordinate with logistics staff to ensure materials are available where they need to be at the right time.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience managing and supervising industrial developments.
  • Experience with creating and executing critical lift plans.
  • 10+ years related site development experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. 

 

Desired Experience:

  •  Bachelor's Degree desired.
