Overview

i3 is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support an Army Contract. The selected candidate will provide Information Assurance and Cyber Systems expertise supporting information systems and ATO/ATC packages in support of MDA customer labs. The Cyber Security Analyst will have a customer centric approach and provide all levels of support for the user base community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct customer service and Cyber support to local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, on-line systems and in person.
  • Interact and collaborate with ISSOs/ISSMs and Technical teams at various organizational levels.
  • Conduct and/or participate in Technical/Cyber meetings with organizational team members.
  • Spearhead the Integration of established Cyber policies and methodologies in a highly technical environment.
  • Conducts system scans and remediation to meet Army, DISA, DoD, and MDA compliance requirements.
  • Utilize Splunk to create dashboards, review logs and report on security related metrics.
  • Perform security log reviews utilizing tools such as Splunk, SCAP, ACAS, HBSS, and others.
  • Assess, audit, review and report on HBSS status, events, rogue systems, product compliance, rules, policies and products on information systems throughout the network.
  • Utilize HBSS, ACAS, and WSUS to provide reporting on compliance and patch levels.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and security of servers, computers and network devices.
  • Interact with MDA 2Ltr organizations and serve as an intermediary.
  • Generate and maintain system documentation such as RMF Artifacts and SOPs.
  • Utilize and apply strong understanding of Cyber Security methodologies and practices such as DISA STIGs, RMF, and system compliance.
  • Utilize eMASS to review STIGS, POAM’s, policies, and upload artifacts.
  • Interacts with users and evaluates security posture.
  • Provides advice and training to end-users.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and security practices as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years’ experience or 10 + years equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
  • Experience using monitoring tools such as HBSS, Splunk, ACAS, WSUS and others.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cyber Security practices/procedures (DISA STIGs, RMF, eMASS, HBSS).
  • Strong DoD Security practices and knowledge, including COMSEC and facility security standards.
  • DoD 8570 IA Certification (Security+ CE) or ability to obtain the (Security + CE).
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
