Medical Software Intern

i3 is seeking a software development intern with experience in the medical field to work on patient care applications being developed for the United States Army. The intern will assist the program manager and senior software architect in all aspects of software design, coding, and implementation while receiving valuable knowledge as part of the i3 team.

• Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects.
• Provide administrative and technical support.
• Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Currently pursuing a Computer Science or Software Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college/university in at the time of the internship(Summer 2025).
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.

Knowledge/Skills

• Background in the medical field whether though work or school is highly preferred.
• Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
• Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

• Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
