Overview

The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team at i3 supports DoD customers in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms.

 

The team is seeking a Program Management Analyst with 5+ years of professional experience to assist in managing the execution of cutting-edge uncrewed systems software development projects to support various DoD customers.

 

This position is contingent on funding with an anticipated mid to late September start time frame.

Responsibilities

The candidate will work with a Program Management team to organize and provide reporting on the progress of multiple interconnected software development teams executing work toward several DoD customer requirements. The candidate will keep track of due outs and deliverables, take comprehensive meeting notes, organize customer-facing documentation, and interface with government customers and sub-contractor teams to ensure overall team success on the project.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Required skills:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance prior to start.
  • Have a Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred).
  • Five plus years of professional experience required.
  • Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn.
  • Candidate will engage with a wide variety of engineers and customers to develop and maintain templates for documenting meetings and task assignments.
  • Candidate will organize and facilitate change control board meetings on behalf of government customers.
  • Candidate will write and deliver comprehensive monthly reports and maintain updates to weekly status displays in Government tracking systems.
  • Candidate will document due outs discussed during meetings and provide reminders to the teams to ensure completion of tasks
  • Candidate will help the teams develop collaboration practices and procedures to ensure smooth and timely execution of tasks across multiple teams
  • Position Location: In office in Huntsville, AL
  • CONUS Travel required: Less than 10%

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Experience working in a DoD environment.
  • Experience working in conjunction with technical teams.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Sharepoint.
  • Familiarity with Government contracting and Program Finance practices.
  • Strong background in organization and project management.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required
