Overview

i3 is seeking a Senior Strategic Analyst to drive strategic initiatives and make data-driven decisions. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic plans, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering effective communication with key stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to long-term strategic planning and change management initiatives to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Shape Strategy and Drive Data-Driven Decisions:
    • Lead the development, implementation, and analysis of strategic plans and initiatives.
    • Analyze programmatic data to provide actionable recommendations to senior leaders, enhancing organizational effectiveness and streamlining processes. 
  • Optimize Resource Allocation and Enhance Efficiency:
    • Support the budget formulation process and analyze cost models to enable efficient resource utilization.
    • Contribute to schedule and change management, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manage Stakeholder Communications:
    • Develop clear and concise communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required experience, skills, and traits:

  • Master’s degree required.
  • 20 years of experience in program management or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and support diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Adept at analyzing complex information, identifying key insights, and developing effective solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with key stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Preferred experience, skills, and traits:
  • Extensive experience with DoD acquisition programs and test activities.
  • Deep understanding of resource management and budget processes.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and integrating diverse elements of complex projects or programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Congress.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required
