Overview

The Test Analyst/Engineer will focus on end-to-end testing of new and emerging technologies for the U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive – Fires, Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD/USG).  This is an onsite position in Huntsville, AL on Redstone Arsenal.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across Portfolio Acquisition Executive-Fires and Army test community in the identification and completion of all test and regulatory requirements IAW test plans and procedures
  • Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports
  • Create test plans and detailed step-by-step test procedures to satisfy requirements
  • Support the Test Director in the execution of highly complex tests according to approved procedures
  • Analyze data to ensure customer requirements are met and determine satisfaction.
  • Develop mitigation strategies for identified issues and following up to ensure problems are resolved
  • Provide timely information and periodic reports pertaining to the overall status of all assigned projects
  • Participate in integrated product teams to formulate, establish, and coordinate customer requirements
  • Develop and deliver briefings to senior stakeholders across all project phases
  • 25% Travel may be expected for this role
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in related discipline
  • At least 10 years of applicable experience
  • Must currently hold and be able to maintain an active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation. 
  • Creative, strong problem-solving skills, and able to perform well under stressful situations
  • Experience in testing and evaluation (T&E) of U.S. Army Air and Missile Defense Systems

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of U.S. Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) System capability and requirements process
  • In depth knowledge of Army test planning, processes, and execution
  • In depth knowledge of Integrated Battle Command Station architecture and interoperability
  • Self-motivated with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
  • Proficiency with Windows-based PC software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams)

  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
  • Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.

  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
