i3 is looking for a Communications Architect to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office which develops and fields Command and Control capabilities as a part of the Army’s enterprise Army Air and Missile Defense weapon system. This includes capability development in the IFMC organic portfolio and the integration of new sensors and effectors, and linkages to Joint/Multi-Agency capabilities. The Communications Architect Supports the Solution Architect within the IFMC Technical Director’s organization. Current concentrated efforts include the Integrated Fire Maneuver Network [IFMN], Integrated Frie Control Network [IFCN]. Joint Track Management Capability [JTMC] transport, Inter Task Force Bus [ITFB] transport, and leverage of proliferated Low Earth Orbit [pLEO] for persistent communications.
