This software will be utilized to assist in the development and installation of Modification Work Orders (MWO). i3 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will work in the Joint Technology Center’s Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL), in a fast paced and exciting environment building UAS tactical simulation software for the Army and Air Force. This position involves development and evaluations of software through all phases of software development life cycle, including software requirements, specifications, design, coding, prototyping, and testing. The JSIL leverages scrum agile teams to iteratively produce high quality software for the warfighters to train in a realistic simulation environment. Practical development experience of C# desktop applications is required.
i3 is seeking a Network Engineer with primary experience engineering and administering Cisco networks. Specifically Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices utilizing static and dynamic routing as well as virtual Interfaces within a mixed environment of Red Hat Linux (RHEL) and Windows based Systems. Experience in automation, scripting, system administration, Cyber Patching and automation, STIG RMF/POA&M compliance, tools development, and computing systems integration would be a plus in support the IBCS Program. This position includes disciplines involving network infrastructure, scripting and tools development, Cyber planning and implementation, automation, information assurance (IA)/security, operating system customization, and virtualization. i3 is seeking a candidate to provide oversight and support to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) projects for U.S. Army customers. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Leads development teams responsible for using MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, interface development and the development of behavioral, structural and parametric models for selected systems. Develops and maintains models using modeling languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), Systems Modeling Language (SysML), Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM). Develops system models and creates representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability. Implements and manages system architectures in the MBSE environment. Supports the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing, and performs analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.
Utilizes strong written, communication, and presentation skills, and works effectively in a team environment. Reviews system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate. Participates in the development of trade studies to support the selection preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development/product delivery. The Senior Sensor/Capability Development Engineer position is primarily a product development and aircraft integration/test project leadership role. Successfully interfacing with Customer community stakeholders, internal team stakeholders, aircraft OEMs, and sensor/capability development subcontractors to plan and manage project execution to meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements is paramount. The position also includes subcontractor management, low rate production oversight and acceptance, qualification and reliability testing oversight, and HSST flight test range support.
The SkyRange program is developing and integrating advanced sensors/capabilities and providing flight operations & maintenance for a fleet of manned/un-manned/optionally manned air-vehicle systems to support hypersonic capability development. The SkyRange test architecture includes both MQ-9 Reapers and RQ-4 Global Hawks allowing for the capture of real-time telemetry, real-time multi-spectral full motion video, maritime range surveillance and clearing, and the collection of weather data to support real-time launch decision-making for high-speed system testing (HSST). This unique capability set will increase overall National flight test capacity while greatly reducing costs associated with HSST.

The Software Developer will help to develop software solutions that support current and long lasting projects developed at S3I. The Software Developer will be capable of troubleshooting and producing both functional and optimized code for S3I.
Preferred candidates will have a strong understanding in programming fundamentals and troubleshooting skills. Additionally knowledge in Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, or other major integrated development environment (IDE). Software Developers should be capable of learning new frameworks, languages, and development environments.
i3 is seeking a Test Engineer to provide Test support for the S3I Army Interoperability Lab. The Test Engineer will support testing of software and systems developed at S3I and by third party vendors. The Test Engineer will develop of test procedures, test plans, and test reports. In addition, Test Engineer may be asked to travel to customer specified sites for operational testing, demonstrations and field support. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Preferred candidates will have strong knowledge of TCP/IP networks and tools like Wireshark to help debug issue. Additionally they will have strong intuition for intuitive testing, troubleshooting. Often times the Test Engineer will be the first one seeing the software, so they must be able to learn new things with little to no direction or documentations. They should be able to read and interpret software and system requirements.

The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command requires this position to support development, research, technical integration and fielding efforts for USMC Organic Precision Fires systems. These systems utilize/integrate a precision fires munition and real-time targeting data from organic sensor systems to enable users to rapidly develop target solutions for use with weapon systems at the maneuver unit level.
