i3 is seeking an Mid-Level 3D Artist. Candidates will provide knowledge and/or experience that demonstrates strong skill in photo-realistic, immersive 3D design and development. You should be able to demonstrate strong modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation skills. You will work directly with supervisors, designers, and engineers in the support and creation of interactive mobile, web and desktop trainers, serious games, and simulations.
You should also have knowledge and/or experience in reading and translating technical information and conceptual ideas into high-end interactive multimedia applications. You will design and create vehicles, props, and sets for real-time interactive 3D training. You must be able to work collaboratively with engineers and other artists on projects ensuring successful on-time delivery.
It is required that you submit an online portfolio of your work with your application. The best portfolios typically display a proficiency in creating photorealistic hard surface 3D assets for real-time pipelines. The desired portfolio will show the utilization of high to low poly modeling workflows and an understanding of PBR texturing. We also recommend displaying a shot breakdown specifying your direct contributions. Include texture sets, wireframes, and clean renders of finished work in a real-time renderer is preferred.
